9/19/2023 0 Comments Capture one fuji film simulations![]() OP: I use a similar workflow of "spoofing" my EXIF data to unlock film sims in Capture One Express for Fujifilm. ![]() I changed computers since then and haven't downloaded the program again, but I do plan to. The results were great, I used it for my X-T2 to get classic neg. It maybe added 1 or 2 minutes to the process for 100 photos or so, but it was definitely worth it and I didn't feel like it was that cumbersome. The program I tried you could change all of the EXIFs at once by batch. I know this isn't what you're looking for, but it's really not that difficult. I know it's a tad cumbersome, but it works. Once you export the JPEGs, you'll be able to change them back to the X-T1. If you change the EXIF of your X-T1 files to say the X-T3, before importing them into C1, you'll get access to all the film sims. If anyone knows of any other good solutions, I'd be glad to hear of them. I'm also aware that it is possible to unlock the simulations by changing the name of the camera in the photo EXIF data, but I'd rather not have to bother doing this with each and every photo I edit. I have found a link to some in a post dated 2018, though the files at this link have since been deleted. So, my question is - can anyone point me towards, or has anyone produced, any profiles that are attempts to replicate the Fuji film simulations that they would be kind enough to share with me? I am aware that the Fujifilm film simulations (which I am used to applying in C1 to photos taken with my X-E3) are not available for the X-T1 (and all other cameras older than the X-T2). I shoot raw and edit in Capture One 20 in WIndows. ![]() Specifically, it is compact and light (lighter than the x-s10, much lighter than the X-T4), has WR, dials for all three exposure parameters and a large EVF. I have just bought an X-T1, the reason being that it ticks more of my "boxes" than any of the more modern Fuji cameras. ![]()
